Bertha T.

Today I bring a very special girl to the blog. Her name is Bertha and she was referred to me by another super special friend that although we don't speak often, has always held a very special place in my heart since childhood... anywho, Bertha is a recent grad and is a small business owner just like your favorite photographer over here ::wink wink:: We hit it off right away, and I can honestly say that if you EVER need anyone to speak to about anything at all, a professional who can also show compassion and also be able to tell you how it is... it's this girl right here! She was so great; the weather was crappy but she didn't care! We photographed in the light rain and she was such a pro. Honestly loved this session, hope you guys do too!

Fourth of July Fun...

One of the photography "tricks" people seem to love is Bokeh. It's something we use to make our subjects stand out. I decided to take my knowledge of it to another level, and got some amazing images of our Fourth of July Fireworks over at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, FL. ALL of these images were taken with my Canon, and they have not been manipulated in any way via photoshop or any editing program with the exception of adding some matte effect & adding the watermark. Other than that... it's all me, my camera, heart shaped cut out paper, and a rubber band ;) enjoy!

This image was on the way to get our seats on the lawn... one little heart <3
...& here comes the finale...

Claudia & Rick Expecting #1!

I guess it's maternity week since this post is also all about baby bumps... My very first Maternity Session was with Rick & Claudia, and I couldn't have asked for a better couple! They were expecting baby number one and were SUPER excited. Claudia had a bunch of ideas during the session which made it such a breeze to work with them! They were so down to earth and so in love and SO excited about Mr. Richard Logan coming into their lives that this has been one of my favorite & memorable sessions. Stay tuned for newborn shots of Logan! Enjoy!

Monica & Doug's Maternity Session

It's not a huge secret that my two favorite kinds of sessions are Baby Bumps & Itty Bitties (newborns). Just recently I received the honor of being able to photograph one of the most IN LOVE couples I've ever met. After our first phone conversation, I already knew it was going to be an amazing session, I was so inspired and couldn't wait for the day to come. So on to Bill Bags State Park we went! My best friend Pam tagged along to help me lug around my gear since I still wasn't feeling 100% from a recent surgery I had, and just as expected, sparks flew, they were naturals, I was in the zone, and it was one magical day... Monica was referred to me by Dianah whose maternity session I did, and I couldn't have been more grateful! I just can't wait for the newborn sesh! <3 Enjoy!

If you don't know by now, I am obsessed with benches. "How did that come to be?" you might be thinking... well, I once had a dear friend who used to photograph McDonald's Arches everywhere he traveled, I thought to myself, I need a staple; I need something that I can find anywhere and everywhere, and just figure out different ways to photograph it... so there you go. I'm obsessed with benches, and I'm obsessed with how these bench images turned out!

Love all things baby bump, nature & nautical! <3
See what I mean? PURE love over here.... this wasn't posed... this was ALLLL them! ::sigh::

Thanks for visiting y'all! Don't forget to leave me some love in the comments! Come back soon & as my superhero Ellen always says... Be kind to one another <3
